Dear Residents,

As someone who has proudly called Enfield home for all of my 54 years, I’m writing to you not just as a neighbour, but as someone who shares your frustration. My name is Peter Charalambous, and I live right here in Highfield Ward—where I’ve seen firsthand how our community has been neglected under the current Labour Council.

From the chaos caused by the LTNs to the growing fly-tipping problem and the threat to our cherished Green Belt, it’s clear that Highfield deserves better. That’s why I’ve decided to stand as your candidate for Highfield in the upcoming local elections. Together with Bambos, we’re committed to restoring common sense and care to our neighbourhood.

Here’s our pledge:

- Remove the damaging LTNs as our first action by switching off cameras by day one

- Tackle fly-tipping with real enforcement and clean-up plans

- Bring back weekly bin collections

- Combat crime

- Safeguard our Green Belt from any development

- Put residents first—always

This isn’t just about politics—it’s about pride in where we live. On 7th May 2026, you have the power to make a change. Let’s bring normality back to Highfield.

Vote for us—and let’s take our community forward.

Peter Charalambous

Dear Residents,

My name is Bambos Charalambous. I’m a local businessman and a proud resident of Enfield borough, where I’ve lived in the Highfield ward for the past 21 years.

I'm standing as a candidate for Highfield because, like many of you, I’m fed up and frustrated. Our Labour-run council has stopped listening to residents. Local voices are being ignored and decisions are being made without proper consultation or accountability.

We deserve better. As someone who lives and works in this community, I understand the everyday challenges we face — from neglected streets and unpopular LTNs, to rising crime and poor council services.

Together with Peter, I want to bring real change — grounded in transparency, common sense, and a commitment to putting residents first. Highfield needs councillors who listen, care, and act — not just at election time, but every day. That’s the kind of representatives Peter and I promise to be.

This is our pledge to you, vote for us on 7th May 2026 and our first action will be to

remove the dreaded LTN’s and bring back our weekly bin collections.
